I rarely get to stop by, but I always take the chance to when I get one. Excellent, healthy, and creative food, and great drinks for whatever the weather. I prefer the juices! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, all of which prove that alternative diets don't have to be boring or flavourless. Very much the opposite!
Wow this place is brilliant! We are from out of town coming to the Frida exhibition and were wandering the streets looking for vegan friendly options. Crooked did not disappoint. Super friendly staff and absolutely amazing food. So delicious, nutritious and filling but not heavy. Thank you so so much for your fabulous service and awesome food!!
OMG. I wish they would open one where I lived. Large vegetarian and vegan selection. Their salads were to die for, just beautiful, healthy and so tasty. We had the vegan lasagna and pumpkin and chickpea patty. I am sensitive to onion and garlic and also vegetarian. So having labels to identify and also ones for low FODMAP was extremely welcome. Online pickup booking was easy and was ready exactly in time I booked to pick it up.
Excellent choices for any dietary requirements you may have. Great service and food was fresh and delicious! Take away only but there are some tables outside to sit and have a bite.
Found this gem for the first time time today - food is simple fresh and delicious. The service is joyful and the atmosphere of the old iconic Bendigo building - delightful. Definitely one to which we will make many return visits.

Not only do they have their weekly specials and regular favs menu where you can go in store and are always greeted daily by the beautiful, kind and genuine Tam, lovely owner and Masterchef Luke, Luke’s gorgeous mother, and the rest of the fantastic team to pick out your meal for lunch, but they have other options available to get you your meal fix! They offer options for you to pick out your meals online on a Friday through to closing on a Sunday afternoon for then them to be freshly made and ready for pick up or for them to deliver your meals (must spend over a certain amount) on a Wednesday or Thursday. 😍 The best part is not only all the amazing savoury options, but also the super tasty sweets that Master Luke and his crafty team create every week. 😋 plus there is always something new to try to keep things new and exciting! For someone that has always lived with an extremely severe peanut and tree nut allergy and other food allergies, this is the safest place for allergy or intolerance sufferers to eat in Bendigo. I have no hesitations or worries about eating here and since Crooked opened I’ve felt safe and absolutely no judgement eating here.
